MeshTalk Child Safety Standards
DarCloud LLC has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on MeshTalk. These published standards apply to every account and all use of MeshTalk, even though MeshTalk version 1 is intended only for users age 18 and older.
Prohibited conduct and content
Users must never create, upload, possess, request, distribute, threaten to distribute, promote, normalize, monetize, or facilitate:
- child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including real, computer-generated, or altered depictions;
- sexual grooming, enticement, coercion, sextortion, or solicitation involving a person under 18;
- child trafficking or the sexual exploitation of a child;
- sexualized comments, fantasies, or role-play involving minors;
- instructions, links, coded language, or communities intended to find, trade, or conceal CSAM; or
- attempts to identify, shame, threaten, or retaliate against a child victim or reporter.
How to report a concern
- For a message, open its three-dot actions menu and choose Report. To report a user, open Conversation details and use the report control beside that member.
- To block a user, open Conversation details and use the block control beside that member.
- For urgent child-safety concerns or if you cannot access the app, email omarabunadi@darcloud.net. Include the username, approximate time, conversation reference, and a concise description. Do not forward or attach suspected CSAM.
Immediate danger: contact local emergency services. In the United States, reports may also be made to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children’s CyberTipline. Outside the United States, contact the appropriate national hotline or law-enforcement authority.
Our response
We review child-safety reports, restrict access where necessary to protect a child, remove prohibited content, and suspend or terminate violating accounts. We maintain a documented procedure to preserve relevant evidence and report confirmed or apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children when applicable, or to the appropriate regional authority, consistent with applicable law.
We do not ask users to download, resend, or investigate suspected CSAM. Knowingly false or malicious reports may violate our Community Standards, but a good-faith report will not be penalized merely because it is not substantiated.
Child-safety concerns are prioritized according to the apparent risk and escalated to the child-safety contact below for enforcement and any legally required external reporting.
Legal compliance and cooperation
MeshTalk complies with applicable child-safety laws and valid legal process. We cooperate with competent authorities consistent with law, user safety, and our Privacy Policy. We retain child-safety report information only for the verified period stated in the Privacy Policy or as required by law.
